Windows Server 2012 unveiled

Microsoft has unveiled its Windows Server 2012 which is first of its kind server that can be controlled remotely. This operating system has the unique capabilities of managing large clusters of servers, which is the first major update of its server OS since 2009.

As the system allows the maximum use of cloud computing, software piracy can be better controlled. Moreover, being in the cloud gives reliability, scalability and in-built performance capabilities.

Hero Motocop to open units in Kenya, Nigeria

Hero Motocop has tied up with an undisclosed European firm and it will be opening its assembly units soon in Kenya and Nigeria.  And the company would be launching its bikes first in Nigeria around November-December this year.

Cloverdell’s FDI in India cleared

The Indian Government has announced its approval of the foreign direct investment (FDI) proposal of Cloverdell Investments Ltd. on Thursday. The Mauritius-based firm envisages a forex inflow worth of Rs.808.06 in India.

Cloverdell Investments’ proposal, is related to induction of foreign equity in an operating NBFC (non-banking finance company) with downstream investments in companies engaged in business of stock broking (including derivatives and currency derivatives broking), housing finance, depository participant service, commodity broking and investment advisory activities.

Munich is all set for the Oktoberfest

The people in Munich are gearing up for the Oktoberfest which will open in southern Germany, they have started dressing in the traditional Bavarian attire — the women in dirndls (an Alpine peasant woman’s dress) and the men in lederhosen.
