8.2 billion year old solar twin found

Astronomers have discovered an 8.2 billion-year-old solar twin, which provides a secret look of Sun in future i.e. how the sun would look like in future. A very large ESO’s telescope was used by the Brazilian astronomers to study the oldest solar twin known till date. The star HIP 102152 is 8.2 billion years old, compared to our Sun which is only 4.6 billion years old. This start was found in the constellation of Capricornus (The Sea Goat). This discovery will help the scientists to better predict as to what will happen to the Sun, when it grows this much older.
