Champions League Twenty20 2014

The sixth season of Champions League T20 2014 will be organized in India from 13th September to 4th October. The matches will be played at Mohali, Raipur, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

The CLT20 2014 schedule has also been decided.The qualified teams for the CLT20 are theTop 3 teams from ipl-7 for group stage in tournament along with dolphins, cap cobras, Perth scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes and the winner of Caribbean Premier League 2014. Group Stage matches will be played between 10 teams in which 2 teams will come from qualifiers round that is scheduled to be played from 13 to 16 September.

In the Qualifier, all teams will play each other once, the top two teams will advance to the Group Stage. The top team from Group A will play the team with second rank in Group B, and vice versa, in the semi-finals, both of which will be played at Hyderabad on October 2. Bangalore will host the final on October 4.

The Champions League Twenty20, also known as the CLT20, is an annual international Twenty20 cricket competition played between the top domestic teams from major cricketing countries. The competition was launched in 2008 with the first tournament held in October 2009. It is jointly owned by the BCCI, Cricket Australia and Cricket South Africa.

The tournament is held either India or South Africa between September and October for a period of two to three weeks. It has a total prize money of US$6 million, with the winning team receiving $2.5 million.
